Just my 2 cents on ammo intell at Wal-Mart, Norman.
I was in the Norman (West side) Wal-Mart this morning (8:30 AM) and I always make a point to go by and check on the ammo selection. The ammo shelf was extremly bare. I mean maybe 3-4 boxes including birdshot 12 gage in the entire cabnet. That has been the typical selection for the past 8-10 weeks when I have been by....
There was another customer in the area and when the "sporting goods employee" came by a few seconds later he asked us two customers if we needed anything. The other customer asked if they had any recent ammunition deliveries and the employee said they had some ".45 ACP and some Independence 5.56".....then inquired if we wanted some of it....I did not need either caliber so I declined.
Makes me wonder though if they are even putting anything out since no .45 or 5.56 was on display. Especially on a Sunday morning. Also no signage limiting any ammunition sales.
