Picked up a new to me G42 a month or so ago. Finally got it to the range last weekend, man what a terrible trigger on this one. I understand that Glock designed the trigger with a stiffer pull, mine is absolutely terrible. My wife had a lot of accuracy issues with it, didn't get it until I shot it. The pull was very hard, and somewhat gritty feeling to me, so I pulled it apart tonight and did some judicious smoothing and polishing. I have to say it made a huge difference. It seems many of the parts are pretty rough(at least in this one) on some surfaces that should be very smooth.
I've seen posts from folks that indicate theirs is OK, I've seen others that have the same issue as mine. Looks like it can be made better, now just waiting for some lighter connectors to become available...
