Well the kiddos got an ear infection in both ears and it just so happens to be my turn to stay home with her. Poor thing. On top of that she's got another tooth comin in. Daddy's gonna have to go buy her a new toy.

I don't know if you can still give little ones tylenol, but back in my day it was tylenol, our favorite toy, cartoons on tv and the rocking chair for us on days like that ...
Shes only 8 months so TV doesn't really work yet. IT will for about 5 minutes and then shes bored again. We do the tylenol/motrin shuffle every 4 hours to keep her sedated lol. But your right, at least i'm not at work.
This doesn't work for every kid ... worked on my oldest and youngest but my middle son wouldn't have any part of it ... take a clean washcloth, soak in cold water and then wring out most of the way. Roll it into a tube and put it in the freezer for an hour or so. Then let her chew on it ... Granted it is messy but like I said it made my oldest and youngest feel better for a bit and when it warmed up and fell apart they liked playing with it.
Middle son just wanted to sit and cry and be rocked in the rocking chair ... bless his heart. When he felt bad, EVERYBODY felt bad ...

Looks like daddy needs to go buy a toy for said baby girl and a 12 pack of "refreshments" for himself. I remember those days of little oes getting sick. I feel for both of you. Best of luck.
I used to drive Tyler around in the car when he was having ear infections. He'd fall asleep, and we'd park, rest, then repeat. That car saw a lot of the great state of Oklahoma when he was little. He's hardly ever sick now... knock on wood.
