Big shout out and thanks to @bigred1 . He gave me a heads up to a little girl Corgi that needed a home. Now she has one. The ranch has grown to 6.

This is Molly. Don't really know a lot of backstory on her and how she came to need a home is a little bit of a mystery. But...whatever. She's ours now (or we're hers) and she'll be happy on the ranch. She seems quite healthy but I've made an appt to see the doc and get caught up on shots and such.

She's very sweet, she's tiny and she's a stone cold cuddle monster. Whatever her background is, she seems mostly well cared for and very well behaved. She hasn't made a peep since she's been here. A little intimidated by the others, and the new environment is confusing to her, but she'll get used to it. Very loving and not afraid of people at all.

It didn't take her long to figure out the bed was a soft, warm and safe spot for a nap.

Just a funny anecdote about Corgi's.

A Long time ago in a land far away,,,
A couple I knew well had one of those long/narrow back yards,,,
They landscaped into a small but very comfy oasis for their barbecue parties.

Then they got a rescue Corgi.

That danged thing destroyed their backyard in a matter of weeks,,,
They fixed everything and tried letting him loose again,,,
Immediate destruction happened.

I made a joke that he was a herding dog,,,
And needing a herd they should get him a small flock of ducks.

I was joking,,,
They thought I knew what I was talking about,,,
And added a small "pond" for the 6 small ducks they acquired.

The dog was immediately turned around,,,
Having a "herd" to take care of,,,
He wasn't bored any more.

About once an hour he leaves his high perch,,,
And moves the ducks around the yard,,,
Then happily goes back to sleep.
