I’m either looking to buy or make a good leather strop for my knives. If I buy, what is the best and if I make one, what’s the best way? Throw out some ideas.

I keep a Bismarck in the bathroom and it does a fine job keeping my straight razors (and knives) ready for when I feel like a manly shave. I’ve always used a 1000 grit stone then a 4000-6000 stone. Backwards strokes upon finishing. Never felt the need for leather strops. My knives are sharp
