Not USGI but still pretty neat setup. One side holds about 120 rounds of linked ammo and the other side catches the links as they come out. Brass falls out the bottom as normal so no more digging through grass to find the links and having to separate them from the brass. Its designed to work with the basic tripod and not interfere with articulation which is nice. Will also work with other mounts easily if I ever get a standing anti-aircraft tripod instead of a ground tripod.
Steel is pretty thick (12ga) and I opted for the parkerized finish vs just painted. I think that was a good decision.
Also seen in the back is the new crank for it. I hope to try this combo out on Saturday or Tuesday.
