BTW, depending on use and budget, the barrel from Classic is only $59.
BCG from Bear Creek is $68

In my colt it takes magpul and the same mags that go to it. Not a single problem. Even used the metal mags.Another question. I can change out just the bolt on the BCG to Grendel, but I’m finding that just the bolt in most places is the same price or more than a complete BCG from Bear Creek. Is there a local source for the bolt by itself that won’t break the bank?
Next, what mag manufacture has the best rep for use in the Grendel?

So you're just running magpul 762x39 mags?[/Q
I have several vids on my Complete Bear creek Grendel 24" heavy fluted barrel. I've done a mag dump (expensive) and ran it dirty without a single fail. The quality of work is outstanding. This is only on the complete upper and not a build from the barrel.Spend some time reading the 6.5Grendel forum and I'm sure you will find the answer to any questions that you may have. Plus, the "group buys" are pretty awesome!
I load mine all the way.Mine will work with pmags but only loading 3 rounds or so, it seems to swell the mag and is difficult to get the mag in the lower
