A buddy of mine along with a few other members from another collector's forum put together a reference guide detailing the pre-WWII and WWII Army Air Forces A-2 jacket contracts. Not an easy feat. I'm only on page two and have thoroughly enjoyed the thread. Thought I'd share in case there are any other WWII aviation enthusiasts on OSA.

I started collecting flight jackets (AAF, USAF, and USN) around 3 years ago after being gifted a patched Cable Raincoat Company A-2 (10008-P contract) that was issued to a member of the 399th Fighter Squadron. I've aquired a few original jackets since that time, but most have been modern reproductions since they can actually be worn.

The guide isn't currently 100% complete, but I hope someone here also enjoys the thread below...
