Sorry if this has been discussed but is there anything written about bringing a gun in on your day off. My company does not have any "no weapons allowed" signs up, however employees are not allowed to bring weapons in.

Since I am paid salary could I get myself in trouble for carrying on my day off? What about my hourly emplyoees? My company has several locations, so the one I frequent the most when off isn't my store.

It really depends upon how your employer wants to enforce its policy. Where I work, I can not carry inside the building as an employee. However, if I'm there as a customer then I carry with no problems.

Hiding from all you crazy people!!!
Your day off doesn't matter. Your still an employee.

For example: beat up your boss off the clock, you still get fired.

All that said, concealed is concealed.

I carried for 13 years when my employer said it wasn't allowed.

This isn't really the case for every..... Ah.... Case
Like when I worked at QT. Carrying was strictly forbidden while at work. But if I was off the clock I could carry in any QT I wanted to.
