I talked to someone at H&H today, and they said exactly this: "We mailed stuff out using our database. We didn't provide information to anyone. It just so happened to be a mailing that advocated a state agency, so everyone assumed that we gave our customer database to a state agency." Honestly, I'm fine with that. As far as H&H, I love them, on the whole. But there are bad apples in every bunch. There are two people, specifically, that I refuse to deal with at H&H, and that's one was rude as hell, and the other flat out lied. Out and out lied. Called and asked them if they had any Glock LE packages available for purchase. Response: "No, we're all out. Glock is backordered by about a quarter of a million firearms, so finding them is luck." I scratched my head, and called BS. I went by H&H, and spoke to someone else. He scratched HIS head, and said, "No, there are stacks and stacks of them." I know who the voice on the other end of the original phone conversation was, but I'm not sure if calling him out by name is allowed here.
