H&R Defender Special

Swung by an LGS and happened upon this little H&R. Very straight revolver with no rust, clean bore, locks up nice and tight and the only thing I can see wrong is the bluing wear. I reload 38S&W so ammo isn’t a problem and despite its 2” barrel it has a pretty decent heft. Certainly would slap a knot on someone’s head if the situation required. So whatcha think?

That looks like fun. I don't know much about them, but it seems like the longer barrels are more common.

I’m not sure myself. I wouldn’t think a 2” would be all that common either.

Buffalo Bore makes some defense ammo for .38 S&W that's a full wadcutter. I bought a box to load my mom's old model 32 with.
