Talked with an H&R collector and apparently this model was made only one year, that being 1949 so that’s either pretty cool or they thought it was such a horrible design they changed things up. 😂😂

Swung by an LGS and happened upon this little H&R. Very straight revolver with no rust, clean bore, locks up nice and tight and the only thing I can see wrong is the bluing wear. I reload 38S&W so ammo isn’t a problem and despite its 2” barrel it has a pretty decent heft. Certainly would slap a knot on someone’s head if the situation required. 😉 So whatcha think?

If or when you get tired of that gun I’d be interested in buying it off of you. I’ve only seen a little 2” 22 version of that before. Not the 38 S&W version. I also love old top break pistolas.
