Halloween party this Friday in Bricktown

Some folks I know put together a Halloween party this Friday and it will be hosted at Candy Nightclub downtown. This certain party is on it's 6th year and is usually hosted at a different place each year. 100% of the proceeds go to the Oklahoma Ear Institute Cochlear Implant Program. When I used to help host this event, we always tried doing a different charity every year. Some of the folks saw a video about cochlear implants and thought it was very cool how kids who are deaf are able to hear. Pretty awesome technology.

If anyone is unfamiliar with cochlear implants, here is a video that talks about a 4 year old that had them put in. You might tear up a bit...won't lie! This is what 100% of the party proceeds are going towards.

We used to all load into an RV back in the day from Ponca and head to bricktown for the Halloween thing. It was fun times with a designated driver.

Definitely gonna need a taxi back to the hotel if I go. lol

And BB, if I'm really doing this, I am gonna need a professional Halloween/theater makeup artist to fix me up on Friday. Not kidding.
