Definitely gonna need a taxi back to the hotel if I go. lol

And BB, if I'm really doing this, I am gonna need a professional Halloween/theater makeup artist to fix me up on Friday. :D Not kidding.

Picz WILL be had.

Instead of a cab try this new company out if you have a smart phone and can download their free app! Less expensive than a cab. :)

Oh man ... :grumble: It's times like these I wish I wasn't married to a teetotallin' JBT ... :( He's absolutely NO FUN at nightclubs ... :P
So I haven’t been on this forum in years. I was going back looking at old threads I posted. I read this response and it made me smile. I didn’t know what teetotallin’ was back then. Then, in 2015, I became a teetotaler. Been on that path ever since. How neat. :)

That's some serious fishing! Got a YouTube channel you're fishing for content?
You know, photo/video is a big hobby of mine. I’ve thought about starting to do some YouTube videos from fishing or camping trips but haven’t yet. The fishing has just been bank fishing. Nothing too thrilling as far as where I go (mostly a spot called Kid’s Lake in OKC that’s a 10 min drive from my house) but would make for good story tellin’ opportunities while fishing. Maybe I’ll start a channel one day. I’ve only been thinking about it for at least 5 years now. Ha!

I’ve met and know many’uh good people out of Ponca. 🤝🏽

Cool! We may know some of the same folks then. I watch a lot of videos of places we are getting ready to travel to so I can get a feel of what is needed to hit the ground running. Recently introduced to surf fishing on the Alabama coast which is a real treat. You never know what beast is going to take the bait. Saltwater fishing is just amazing.

Watch this if you haven’t yet! I’d love to do tarpon fly fishing one day.

When I was a teenager in the mid 90’s my Dad and I fished all over SWOK. I didn’t fish from the time I was 18 until 42 (last year) and got damn am I glad I picked it back up again. I want to fish for smallies at Baron Fork soon.

I'm a huge fly-fishing aficionado. The gear those tarpon fishing guys use dwarfs my little 3 and 4 weight rods. Tie my own flies, etc.
When I was a kid, before I can remember, my Grandpa bought a 14' V bottom boat to be used as a family boat among the 5 grown kids and their kids. It was always in use. Come and get it, take the boat motor out of the tool shed, use it, bring it home, take the 10hp Johnson off and put it back into the tool shed and turn the boat over on the trailer. Don't do it, and you can't use it again.
My dad was a not so serious fisherman but I was ate up with it. Many evenings of him rowing me around lake Ponca while I cast for bass is a great memory. Trolling motors were just starting back then and we didn't have one.
Guess what? I still have that boat and trailer! (along with another)
The wood was getting in disrepair and one day decided to rebuild it with all new wood and even used some of the artificial wood to put it back into somewhat new condition along with a barely used 20 hp Merc. My GPS says 28 mph with just me in it.
