Mowed my boy’s yard. He’s been gone 7 years next month. Lost Dad Oct 30. The post is where they’ll set his stone. So glad my youngest is still doing well. He sent me a very nice text this morning and that’s plenty.
People told me when my grandson passed away it would get better. It has not. He has been gone 22 years January 30th. I don't get to visit him (he's buried in Duncan) but I do visit with him every morning. Every time I see his brothers (he was the youngest of a set of identical triplets) I wonder ...

Andrew and Dad's spot, as well as my maternal grandparents - are about a mile as the crow flies from my deer stand. Always have those memories, and a cold quiet morning gives you a good time to think.
