Mayor Arulampalam released a statement denouncing the group of armed citizens, saying, “Our community has seen so much pain and trauma, and what we need is for those who love this city to do the hard work of healing that pain, not walk around our streets with guns trying to take the law into their own hands.”

The People used their own hands to elect people to enforce the law, so when those elected to do the job can't or won't do the job, the People will take it into their own hands and they certainly have the power to do so under their right to self defense. Then the People will elect others who have the ability and drive to enforce the law for the People.

You can't heal the pain until you identify and eliminate the cause.

I saw this article. The turd is not happy with the citizens organizing to protect themselves.
You've got to wonder who this mayor works for. He doesn't like citizens taking up their own defense as police policies and budgets provide less and less protection. I guess he thinks if citizens are disarmed the criminals will leave them alone?
