Agreed. Some things never need to be typed.
I'm wondering ... as far as going to the police - would they even listen to a father about an adult daughter? If they did take an interest, visited the daughter, and saw no physical evidence of abuse would they go any farther? If she told them there was nothing wrong, out of fear or otherwise?
They also argued that Davidson was conveniently scary to April. The two had sex after she claimed he abused her...

Even though I feel like the decisions the pastor made were very teenagerish... This quote above makes me angry. Of course a woman who is abused is going to have sex with the man that was abusive towards her. Have these prosecutors had any Psychology lessons. Geeze...
Is that a subjective opinion or a quantifiable scientific fact? She had been out of the home for 9 months and continued to see the husband while apparently no allegations of abuse had been filed in court, reported to police or mentioned until after the shooting happened and the recorded jail conversation with her dad about "telling the same story".
You speak the truth Billybob. I'm not arguing with what you are saying. She could very well be lying. I myself have crafted some zingers to avoid consequences before. All that I am saying is that this statement: "They also argued that Davidson was conveniently scary to April. The two had sex after she claimed he abused her...", is not a good reason to say that someone was not abused or in an abusive relationship. I'm not saying he was an abuser. I'm not saying she isn't a liar. I'm just saying that I believe that particular statement is a dangerous statement to use to say someone is not being abused.
