40 yards. It took 10 rounds to anchor him and a final shot to the head.
40 yards head/neck shot with 3” 00 buck out of a 22” bbl. turkey gun impressed me but not her.
First time I’ve used buckshot on hogs, will definitely use it again.
I’ve killed a bunch of deer and pigs with 00 buckshot, and it will definitely do the job. I generally use modified choke and keep my shots inside 30 yards. I’m dying to try replicating the buckshot load @swampratt is working on.
I bet that’s a dandy load.
Don't know how many hogs I have killed since my last post in here. But add 7 from 1 field on Tuesday night.
