Any suggestions for a book or site with headstamp identification? I have 3 cases, fairly certain they’re military, I can’t quite decode. I have ‘Cartridges of the World’ but there’s little to no headstamp id.
Looks like PS could be 4 different ones, anyone know about the numbers?here ya go on the headstamps.

Gotcha, I’m mainly trying to find the origin and caliber so I’ll keep looking. Funny thing is the 2 LC show to be 223/5.56 everywhere I’ve looked. I haven’t mic’d them all yet, but just by looking they are minimum 7.62/30 cal. My “Cartridges of the World” is good, but no pics of headstamps. I can however used the table you posted, get the 4 countries and go through the descriptions. Hopefully it says the markings on the headstamps.Numbers usually correspond to the date the brass was made.
That is another thing that can help you narrow it down.
Were all those PS stamps available in 1975 ??
Research the manufacturer and see if they were around then and what were they making if they were.
