Help finding a drill bit locally

I need a 1" drill bit that is 12" long. It is for metal so a wood bit won't work. Where can I find this.

Fastenal may have it, but it'll be expensive. grainger might actually have it also but again very expensive.

Rule company or wholesale tool. Retool isnt someplace i would recommend. The guys working the counter at wholesale tend to be pretty down to earth and are more interested in helping the customer over making a sale.

I don't recall Harbor Freight's large bits being for metal - just wood and masonry bits. They mostly had sets and very few individual bits. I was disappointed.

I know because I was there today looking for a 9/16th metal bit. Pretty common item, but was seeing if they had one for less than the $15 Lowes/Home Depot/Sears gets for one.

They have step bits up to, I believe, 1 1/2". Doesn't do the OP any good, but in case you're ever looking again for a big caliber metal bit.
