Thanks Guys. I decided to go tactical in order to make it 922r compliant. I may get a slide fire stock for it at some time in the future. I do have the auto sear spring for the receiver because you just never know. Tee Hee.
The AK is Romanian. I chose screws in lieu of Rivets. It has a new barrel. I love wheel guns. I do not shoot 44 mags in this one though. I prefer 44 special. I did Law Enforcement at a school in Texas while working on my degree. I had a S&W model 66 and always carried 38 special, 125g HP +p. I figured that a 200 grain HC 44 special would have about the same energy as the 38 and if God forbid that I ever had to use the weapon in self defense, the bullet would not go through the perp and hurt one of my neighbors.
I load my own. I have two hundred rounds of 7.62 x 39 reloads and 150 factory loads. I am building my own brass catcher to catch my AK brass.
