Speaking of BAR; anybody remember the show called Combat with Vick Morrow?
I remember some guy on there complaining about having to carry the BAR.

Yeppers, I remember, but not who it was that complained. However, the 45th Infantry Museum has at least two of those BAR's.

I watched the beginning. Having trained with the M60 snoopin and poopin in the woods I noticed his life expectancy in that scenario is about 20 seconds.

M-60 is a badass. Yeah he is just putting on a shooting demo, but you can't take away from the platform. The 7.62×51mm round served its purpose well.
