The Colt Peacemaker .22 and New Frontier .22 were introduced in 1970 to replace the earlier Frontier Scout .22 revolvers

A mid-60's "duo-tone" Frontier Scout was the first handgun I ever shot enough to become familiar with it.

It was my Mom's pistol,,,
Lived on top of the refrigerator,,,
Alongside a new brick of .22 shorts.

"Get your chores done without me having to hound you,,,
I'll let you shoot Lucille after dinner."

This is one extremely precise shooting revolver,,,
A sharpshooter friend of my Pop's used to borrow it,,,
He entered in and won a bunch of Sunday afternoon Ham Shoots.

I shoot at least two cylinders every time I go to the range.
