Is that because you were going to shop lift one of them and were wondering about the sentence??:D

Sorry, but my bad:D

Actually, I was thinking about one for my dad. For some reason, the .410 is his very favorite caliber. He still deer hunts occassionally (Remington .243 is his rifle of choice) but he varmint hunts more than anything. And not for sport.

He hunts coons because they steal his corn.

He hunts possums, hawks and owls because they steal his chickens.

He hunts snakes because they steal his eggs.

He hunts yotes because they chase his cows, llamas and donkeys.

And he hunts armadillos because they dig big ol' holes in the yard.

He uses a .410 for each and every one of these critters.

The Judge might make a cool little "carry 'round" gun for him on the farm. ;)

I'm thinking your dad and I could become friends!:D
The only gun I owned from then I was 11 yrs old until I was out of the Army and 28 yrs old was the .410.
You had better have them in close, and you'd better be accurate.
Here I am, back to the .410:D

When I was growing up I carried an old Iver Johnson single shot .410. My dad carried a WesternField .410 bolt gun. That was until he scraped up $100 dollars and bought a spanking new Remington 1100. Then I got to carry the bolt gun! :woohoo1:

I now have all 3 of those guns in my safe. I'll be shooting that 1100 in 3 gun matches (with a couple of mods) if I ever get to go to any. :grumble:
