Wouldn't necessarily need to be winter only carry. You should be able to carry an SP101 year round without any problems. And in the winter you should be able to carry it however you please.

I personally have no experience with the Crossbreed holsters, but they seem to have been getting positive reviews.

I have a K & D Laredo Defender for OWB. Easy snap on/off - great holster.

My IWB holster is a Little Feather Leather (?) Great holster , very comfy.

I carry a 3" 101 in a Crossbreed holster and I love it. I'm skinny as a pole, and I can easily conceal it under just a T-shirt. I wear it all day and the crossbreed holster is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

I use a Smart Carry most of the time for my SP101 3". But when that is not convenient a Don Hume IWB is my second choice. The Smart Carry is very comfortable, So I prefer it although it has it's drawbacks.
