Is Reuters a legit news source? Because the HuffPo link was to a Reuter's story. Both links actually refer to the same story.

And from what I know based on talking to a couple of reporters on a regular basis, the person who writes the story rarely writes the headline. That's typically done by an editor.

Your first mistake is assuming that the Huffing and Puffing Post is a legit news source.

I already had a less than glowing opinion of the huffington post; this fits right in.

Of course both sides do the same thing.

Sometimes I'll open Foxnews.com and MSNBC.com in two different windows and it's like I'm looking at the "news" for 2 different planets.

Reuters provides the wire copy, then the HuffPo can edit it and headline it however they wish. While I would expect journalistic integrity from Reuters, I don't expect it from the HuffPo. BTW, I used to be a news photographer for a NJ cable news station...
