You are 100% correct, and that really piss me off. The GOP is as bad as the DEM. "Republican is a political party whereas conservative is a philosophy." Dan Bongino.Sadly if it swings back right in the mid terms, the republicans won't go back and change any of the bad laws going down now.
Biden or harris will rule with the pen and a phone.
Well I work with a bunch of them with the same IQ as AOC. I take that back, she make some look like Einstein.I worked for the Federal Government as well as a GS-7 after the military. I wasn't speaking without knowledge.
There are a lot of government jobs that do require a lot of work, but I danged sure worked around some that just drew a paycheck and didn't deserve it.
And more than the 20 year Afghanistan War. The one everyone was complaining about the costs! And this is just a democrat spending spree. And how much is the Infrastructure bill at 3.5 Trillion, $24,475.52 per each taxpaying American.
Don't kid yourself. There are PLENTY of rural people on the permanent teat as well. They're just less concentrated, so it seems like less of an issue.Tocqueville concluded that a free people could willingly enslave itself. Clearly we are seeing this enslavement play out in liberal enclaves.
Sadly, you are correct. I would contend that without the power the liberal enclaves have exercised in the whole election process over the years, starting with Johnson's great society, many in the rural more conservative areas would not have succumbed to the welfare state of mind. Alas, the horse has already left the barn and it ain't going back! People rarely will give up perceived free services or money, even if it means losing their freedoms.Don't kid yourself. There are PLENTY of rural people on the permanent teat as well. They're just less concentrated, so it seems like less of an issue.
Very true. However, a 300k home doesn’t get you much these days, buts it’s a good investment. That 60k truck and 50k car is just folly these days assuming they’re not paid for. Our two fully owned cars, if we sold them right now, would barely net 25k, but they’re reliable, look respectable, and we will probably get another 100k miles from each of them without any major repairs because they’re well maintained. Why people are suckered into financing vehicles this day and age is the greatest con going.I’ll bet if they sold that $300,000 home they live in that eats half their spendable income, sell the Beemer and Mercedes they “must” have, eat meals at home, and downsize to a more moderately priced older home they could live just fine.
It’s really not hard to live within ones means if they don’t have the need to impress those around them.
Sadly I know folks just like you that project the illusion of wealth while not being wealthy.
