Of course we aren't prepared for a war and it started with a past president who fired all the Generals that had morals and held fast to the Constitution. Anyone watching the antics of the politicians in Washington knows that we are now have a weakened military and are not prepared. We've given off a lot of our military armament, weaponry, tanks planes etc but we do have a deterrent...MAD. Mutually Assured Destruction and that may hold other countries at bay -our nuclear arsenal-except for Iran who thinks they'll usher in the Mahdi if they enter into war with infidels.
If Harris should get in as president, we are done but I doubt if she will based on her liberalism and past record. She supports surgical transition of children to another sex and that is not the president's business! In summarization, she is from California nad that in itself is enough to disqualify her from being president..

If China takes Taiwan our economy goes into the crapper. We use far to many computer chips made in Taiwan and no longer have the capability to manufacturer them here. Sure we could start making them, after we either built the machinery or bought it from China. We need to move a lot of manufacturing back to the USA but that is not going to happen as long as the deep state is so regulation happy.

TSMC, the company that makes those chips, is opening facilities to manufacture them in the US.

Most of our manufacturing jobs have been sold out to other countries, medicine, chips, food, auto parts, you name it, we can hardly find anything made in the USA and if there is a war, either we gin up the manufacturing here or we're in trouble. Even petroleum products, we have the ability, tools and machinery to produce oil but it will be months down the road before we see anything produced once the go is given. And Biden has released or sold our oil reserves so there is a huge problem if we want our war machines to operate.

They're (politicians) already suggesting that. I'm not sure I really care for the idea, but I think few of our citizen "kids" are military material. Another readiness issue. Also I think they must want to fight for America in order to gain citizenship but heck we are paying them to do nothing so being a citizen may not be motivating. This may be a post already...
