But of course they own us, and even non-citizens pay taxes. If one receives a federal pension the have no choice but to pay taxes-unless it is through the VA.This doesn't have to do with tax's, but you cannot just denounce your citizenship and not pay taxes. I forget now but you must either go to federal court to denounce your citizenship, or to the state department. In other words they own you.
