Many of you (especially us older farts) have seen Western movies or tv shows in which a town is invaded by an outlaw gang. There may only be 6-8 bad guys, yet the whole town is paralyzed with fear. Nobody wants to do anything.
Now here's my question:
In an old west town with me as the town lawyer, DocJJ as the town doctor, glockcop as town marshal, the Cue brothers as the town blacksmiths, dennihoddy as a rancher, farmerbyron as a local farmer, soonerpawn as the mercantile store owners, reddog as the town drunk and shootin4fun as the saloon owner and PurpleHaze as the brothel madam, don't you think that the best thing that could happen to the outlaws is getting shot to death, in comparison to the other degradations and depredations and despoilments that they could suffer under the kind attention of the town?
