What's up with with the shark fin on the handguard? I like AR's but I have always been more fond of ak's. Both are great.

It was a Romanian "donkey dong" handguard. It's still a work in progress but it's functional. It does not interfere with quick mag changes like its previous form.

Does the muzzle device you have on compensate as well as the 74 style break it came with?

The Manticore Nightbrake works very well at reducing muzzle flip. It is lighter and a smaller profile than the Bulgarian muzzle device, which is a big plus. It is the best option for the AKM 24mm threaded barrels.

Another piece I'd like to point out is the TWS Dogleg Gen 2 optic mount and rear sight. It holds zero very well and looks very well made. Perfect cowitness with my RDS.
