I'll be honest, I was really already watching the 1971 Shaft Trailer at the time and just decided it made as much sense as anything else to post in here.

It wasn't directed at the OP in any way and if I've offended anyone, I apologize.

This picture, however, is actually relevant to this thread though:

Yep. Some may need to bone up on their history. The 10th was also involved with the assault on San Juan Hill in Cuba.

"The 9th and 10th formed a core around which volunteer units were attached in the Cavalry Division (Dismounted) under Major General Joseph Wheeler and were in the 1st Brigade under Brigadier General Samuel S. Sumner. The 1st Brigade also included the 1st United States Volunteer Cavalry which was commonly known as "Roosevelt's Rough Riders"

The last "Buffalo soldier" died in 2005. His last name was Mark Matthews he was 111. The Negro Calvary created in 1866 was given that name first. Then other Black units were given that name during the Indian Wars.

Note the OP's original post time (after midnight) and editted around 3 AM. I suspect this post is the result of either 1)insomnia 2)intoxicating substance(s) 3) a boring night shift.

...or possibly a result of a combination of those things.

I would guess our OP should be waking up soon and will reply.

^^^ This. I read the original post and it didn't make any damn sense.
The edit made all the difference.
Please. We have threads on here that say "jelly and bacon, that is all."
If this buffalo soldier is taking up too much of the finite space on the innerwebz, I pitty him.
Karma will catch up with him sooner or later. Till then, I think that we should let him go.
