I know some of you will say that a pistol grip only shotty is worthless but there are 3 reasons I like the pistol grip on this Mossberg 88
1. I have another 12 guage with a stock
2. I think it is fun to shoot (and look at)
3. I am man enough to handle it. haha

If you can shoot it good, that's great. I always had much better accuracy with a full stocked shotgun.

I don't think you would have to be all that accurate with that gun and some 00 =]
