I’ve had sessions like that with 6.5x55. I think my issue is my dies. I don’t have near the problems with other calibers.
I didn’t see any mention of uniforming the flash holes inside the primer pocket. Did you skip that?
Gotta make sure I do a "quality post" since everyone is watching out for those these days!!
Same here. I don't know if it makes a difference but the more I can make the ammo better the more I can rationalize blaming the shooterDeburring flash holes isn’t much fun. Thankfully it’s a once in a brass lifetime thing unlike primer pocket cleaning and case cleaning. I dunno how much difference it really makes but some cases dang sure have a chip/tear out hangin of the inside of the flashole. Atleast those that are punched vs drilled anyhow.
No, no... blaming you is ALWAYS a good plan!Same here. I don't know if it makes a difference but the more I can make the ammo better the more I can rationalize blaming the shooter
Wait, crap, I'm the shooter... That's a horrible plan!
It can be removed...Oh the unspoken joys of the bench! Had similar experience with a .303 Savage session. Case is still stuck in the die by the way. Reminds me, need to order new .303 Savage die tomorrow.
