About darn time. Seems it’s been well over a month since we got any kind of rain and I don’t see anymore in the 10 day forecast.
Its so dry here that if it doesnt come a real slow rain it will all be runoff, i would say in the last 2 1/2 months may have had 1/2 inch of rain if it was all put together most times had to take a magnifying glass to see if any was in the rain gauge.
Extremely dry around Ponca and more so West of here at the farms. I scattered seed at a food plot a week ago hoping for this rain event and it came last night with about .2". Loaded up the tractor and tiller to till about 1/2' or so of the surface to get the seed into the soil in a heavy mist.
Most of the rain today missed us, but it's looking good for the food plot.
