I think i am going to call springfield custom shop and get on the list for the springfield professional 1911 FBI Gun. Model # PC9111. Wait period is 15 months and costs around $2650. I just gotta get the ok from the mrs. and i am gonna start the saving. Wish me luck!

I've got a stainless SW performance center PC1911. I love it. The performance center gunsmiths build really sweet guns. Can't wait to see pics of your professional. I've heard lots of good things about them. Didn't realize the waiting time was so long.
