Remember the Black Talon ammo controversy? This is the replacement to it.

Winchester discontinued the Black Talon line completely in 2000. The “Ranger SXT” ammunition sold later by Winchester is very similar to the Black Talon though without the black Lubalox coating on the bullet.

I purchased it at Tulsa Police Supply in the 90’s. Had it upstairs with some other old ammo……. I had forgot about it, looks like I’ve got some old Starfire as well

Actually I got these right when they took the black talon off the market. Theses are identical except they are brass cased and not nickel.

I have some .45acp Black Talons. Sweet stuff.

Ranger was LAW ENFORCEMENT ONLY. But now my LGS has pallets of 45acp for us. The ammo is new and not trade-in and graphics on box has changed. That 357 is sweet stuff.
