IDPA Sat Aug 27 Oil Capital

Saturday August 27 is IDPA at Oil Capital. Six stages, for about 100 rounds. I'd suggest bringing about 150 rounds to any monthly IDPA match; those cardboard guys dodge a lot of bullets! $12 match fee ($10 to OCR&GC members). Sigin begins 9:30, walk-thru at 10 AM. Set-up begins at 7:30 AM; assistance is appreciated. Lots of shade and plenty of cold bulk water on the bays.

If the weatherman is nice to us, perhaps after this match. We'll be able to plan better (say yes or no for this date) as we get closer to the match and the forecast gets more accurate for the 27th.

If not, then we'll figure out a way to get one shot in the time frame that people need it. Oil Capital's Pistol Left & Right ranges now have football stadium lighting for shooting after dark (to 10 PM). They open up another possibility.
