IDPA Sat Sept 25 Oil Capital

IDPA at Oil Capital coming up on Saturday September 26th. Expect 6 stages; around 100 rounds. Set-up commences at 0730, sign-in begins at 0900 and safety meeting/stage walk-thru promptly at 1000. Entry fee is $15 ($10 for OCR&GC members).

For those of you who may have forgotten, the IDPA World Champs is coming to Tulsa at USSA on Wednesday September 16th thru Saturday September 19th. Won’t cost you anything to watch; take your eye and ear protection to wear. Comp-Tac and Blade Tech are there as are Wilson Combat and Walther (last two as demo bays only). Shoot their guns with their ammo to see if you like.

Thanks everyone for coming out. Results are out via BCC email to the competitors. It was a good day, if a bit unseasonably warm this late in September, for an IDPA match. Some good matches shot. Others zapped one of the relatively few non threats to negative effect their scores. The COF ran fast, especially for a 97 round six stage match. COF are posted in the PDF’s at the very bottom of this page http://www.ocrgc.com/?q=node/394 Results are posted above as attachments as well as below. COF provided a good blend of defensive shooting necessary skills. Targets were as near as 5 feet and as far away as 75 feet. Shots were required on the move as well as weak & strong hand. Some pesky metal targets to down were included in the CoF. Your next Oil Capital IDPA is Sunday October 11th.
