IDPA Saturday Dec 27 Oil Capital

Upcoming IDPA match at Oil Capital is Saturday December 27th. Figure on 6 stages for something around 100 rounds. Stages will be set to run quickly BUT also provide a good challenge. Set-up commences at 0730, sign-in begins at 0900 and safety meeting/stage walk-thru promptly at 1000. Entry fee is $12 ($10 for OCR&GC members).

Badlands 2015 will be the week of the 4th Saturday in April.

Is anyone interested in a IDPA Safety Officer Certification class on February 14th, 2015? If so please send me a PM Cost will be about $25. The classroom and live fire range activities are a full day. SO certification is a good step towards being able to help your local clubs, as well as becoming a SO at major matches.

Results are out via BCC email to the shooters.

A good albeit snowy end to our 2014 IDPA match year. It snowed modestly to moderately most all the time during set-up and the match. As promised, we shot six stages from under the big tents. We had a 15 minute inside warm up break between stages 4 & 5 in the Pistol Range Pavilion Room. We concluded our match and had put away done by shortly after 1 PM. Lots of positive comments from all about enjoying the match. Thanks to the several for coming.

I am considering changing the IDPA SO class from February 14 to January 31st.
