May I suggest doing what I did today. I took the price of one 16 round magazine for my FNP-9 (about $25 at CDNN) and donated it to the NRA-ILA. Just think of what the ILA could do if everyone donated the cost of just one magazine to them. If you are opposed to the NRA, then donate to your favorite organization that supports and defends the 2nd Amendment.

I second your idea. Donate to NRA-ILA GOA etc.

Too many gun owners are thinking they can just buy their mags or AR or whatever and hunker down and wait for the ban to blowover. Wrong idea. We need to take the fight to them now in the congress by contacting our reps, supporting our pro 2A lobbyists, write letters to the editor of the newspaper and find other ways to speak out. I emphasize, "speak out" because posting on OSA is great but it is preaching to the choir.

And don't let anyone tell you this thing is already lost - ignore them and get in the fight.

Great idea. I already donated to NRA and so frequently but I will start sending to NRA-ILA

NRA-ILA's website has a nice tool to email all your elected officials emails according to zone. It's really easy and very important to do.

Just donated 25.00 to NRA-ILA. I was going to post everyone should do it, but you beat me to it. If we have any hope of beating the coming flood of gun grabbing bills, it will take lots of money, and support from all of us.

If only people would quit wasting time and energy on the evil "gougers" and focus on the actual problem. Instead of getting involved or having LOGICAL and RATIONAL discuss we constantly worry about the prices in the classifieds. Sad.

Personally, I've donated to the NRA-ILA, renewed my NRA (which I generally can't stand) and joined the GOA.

I have also donated to NRA-ILA and the Second Amendment Foundation.
Along with donating I would suggest that people take a few minutes of their time and write their congress critter. Write your own personal e-mail, form letters tend to get ignored(email supposedly works better than an actual letter). Our reps that we send to Washington are pretty Pro-2A but hearing from their constituents could help convince them not to compromise on our rights! When actual bills make it out of committee then it will be time to call!
