Yes, the mind is wondrous. Studies have shown that the mind can even compensate for the eyes having different "focus points." My right eye, after cataract surgery, has a focus point out to about 5 or 6 feet, but my left eye has a focus point much further out, and I can see most everything pretty well.

Our youngest son's eyes are similar, but with just regular lasic(?) surgery.
