Gill-gun or Click-Clack

These are common nicknames for the Savage rifles with the exhaust vents on the backside of the receiver. The most commonly know models are the Savage 6A and the Stevens 87A although the number of variants and store brands are numerous. The Click-Clack name comes from the unique sound the action makes as the bolt is held back until the trigger is released causing the distinctive sound of it in semiautomatic mode.
