I've been working with some CFE 223 - same concept for eliminating copper fouling. It is my current .22-250 powder with 55 grain bullet in a Ruger American rifle. Might give the 4166 a try.

Have you chronographed hot days and cold days with the CFE 223 ? or shot groups.

My groups change with some of my loads depending on temperature with Varget, H4350 and IMR 4064.
Funny thing the 4064 stays closer to the same.

Hoping 4166 will cure this issue.
Hunt or shoot groups when it is 90+ in the sun the gun gets quite warm.
Then go hunt or shoot in the teens and things change.

I worked up some awesome load at 37 degrees for the 30-06 and H4350 at 211 yards last 3 shots out of 4 were .436" the first shot was the clean bore shot that blew the group.
But when the temps hit in the upper 80's the group went to over 4"
That I do not like.
Just when you think you have something good Oklahoma weather changes :)

The copper fouling eraser thing goes way way back I can care less about that aspect if my groups stay the same.
