Hello all, my name is Jeff. I live in Northeast Oklahoma in a small town called Vinita. I like to hunt, fish, all types of motorsports, and just recently joined the Dillion Precision community by purchasing a Dillion 650 reloader to start learning how to reload my own ammunition. Hey everyone, I'm Chris. I've been shooting guns my entire life. Grew up in the middle of no where NW Oklahoma, and carried a .22LR with me everywhere I went on my 4-wheeler. I currently live in OKC. I just started growing my collect some in the past year. I finally bought a few handguns the end of last year. My newest addition is a Rock River AR15, first I've owned. I got it last week, and took it out over the weekend and sighted it in. I ending up putting a Nikon 3-9x40 scope on it. It doesn't look all "tacticool" but I like it. I had shoulder surgery almost 2 years ago, and shooting anything bigger than my SKS was killing my shoulder, so that's why I decided to go ahead and get myself an AR platform, hoping I'll be able to enjoy shooting again without the week of pain to follow it.

Hey! I'm originally from Jones, OK, but currently reside in the mountains of Rome, Georgia. Alot has changed in my home state in the last two years since I've last visited. Here in GA, we've got some great laws on the books, that I know by heart, but I'm unfamiliar with OK laws.

I'm leaving out in the morning and will be in Midwest City/OKC for the weekend.

Can anyone point out a "cheat sheet" that I should review and carry? I'm not looking to go to jail out of "ignorance of the law". How are laws there different?

In Ga we can We cannot
CC/OC with or without holster Carry in Schools,College,
Signs don't mean CRAP Church, Bar, Mental Hospital..
Carry in Applebees/Chilis, but not a "BAR" like a pub, Unless you're in State
Defense Force (we're
exempt like LEO).

Drink alcohol while carry (I don't recommend)
LEO cannot demand to see ID/Lic without RAS/PC
Carry at public gatherings

Any info you guys can offer would be great. Also, how is the OC movement going? I carry a SHINY Springfield 1911 Compact, and for 4 years haven't had one negative experience (citizens, business owners or LEO). I realize OC is new back home, and I'm not looking to make a statement while on vacation, but would prefer to OC if it's not a risk.
