Hi my name's Brad. I live in LeFlore county, Poteau to be specific. I am a student at University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. I am a mechanical engineering major, I'm on scholarship with the Air Force ROTC. I got my first BB gun when I was 4 years old and have been shooting ever since.
I found this website while looking for a handgun for sale by an individual (I'm under 21, so I couldnt purchase from a dealer). I found a Sig P229 and bought it from a guy in Tulsa. Best purchase of my (relatively short) life so far! Since then, I really appreciate all of the help and information I get from this forum. I've been a member of so many forums, but they're just too big and no one cares about your questions or concerns.
But here it's all people from Oklahoma who like shooting. I'm glad to have joined, and I look forward to becoming an active member of this community!

Friend of mine on another forum who frequents here directed me to you fine folks.
My name is Jordan and I'm 25. I live in Columbus, OH. I work for Walgreens as a Store Team Leader.
Just had my first range experience on the 12th. Was really, really fun! I'd never shot a gun before (rifle/shotgun/handgun/etc) and thought it was time to take a ride. Rented a P226 9mm and used 115gr FMJ Blazers.
Was a very sobering experience once I slid the magazine in and pulled back the slide - the realization that this is a fully loaded and ready weapon that could kill someone. Certainly makes you respect the firearm.
I'm also thinking of purchasing for target/personal defense. Thinking of a H&K USP .40 or the compact version. Heard great things about them. When I was at the range, I got to handle an H&K 45 and it fit my hand like a glove - very comfortable grip.
So... That's me! Looking forward to getting to know you folks.

Hey, I'm new to the OSA and live in Edmond. I was looking online about info on AR-15's ( looking to buy my 1st) and found your website. What can I say, wow I'm glad I did, looks like a great one with a lot of information.
