But, d@m#, it was money well spent...

Paying 4-5x what you should? ...

iTunes works perfectly on my PC and I don't have to have any other Apple products.

I'm just kidding man - then again, iTunes is the worst software on the planet (what is it like 2.5Gb worth of install/download now?) and it loves to download crap to your computer as an "update" without telling you, as well as converting all your music to proprietary .aac format and continually sending your personal info up to iTunes' store.

I tried iTunes once about 5 years ago. It didn't prompt me or offer an option about converting all existing mp3, wma, and wav (yes, 1:1 wav files) to AAC (.M4A). I knew my computer was slow (PII-533MHz), but it literally dropped to a crawl. I finally ended anything related to iTunes and got ready to uninstall it, only to find out that it had converted over 100 files in the background without my permission (most of them wav files). I've never touched iTunes again, except to use all those gift cards people give me, in which case it's to buy wedding and funeral music at the church.

I'm still waiting for a good reason to use an Apple product.
