IRS agent accidentally shot, killed by fellow agent during training at Phoenix gun range
IRS officials identified the agent as 47-year-old Patrick Bauer.

Made me think immediately of that recent pic of the Federal (?) agent loading a magazine while standing in front of the muzzle of a sub machine gun.
Sad deal.
Training bookkeepers to shoot what could go wrong
I started and deleted a couple of posts. It's sad a death occurred, but arming a collection agency is wrong, and has always been wrong.
The IRS doesn’t need armed agents. They can always call local law enforcement to accompany them if they feel scared. Way too many people in the federal government carrying firearms that don’t need to. That’s just my opinion.
If they treat one of their own this way, think what they'll do to the rest of us.
