Apparently the good guy in the truck was shot in the "crossfire". The bad guy is wanted for shooting the deputy.

I still haven't heard why a Cleveland county deputy was making a traffic stop in Wynnewood.

That doesn't make me read into anything nor wonder aloud about anything important that's being missed.
It tells me a guy in the passenger seat of a dump truck traveling on I35 got hit by a stray bullet from a gunfight. Nobody knows whose gun the offending bullet came from yet.

I would also like to think that a bad guy who got into a gunfight with a sheriff and shot him is wanted for a crime.
Maybe I'm missing something profound.

Deputy was part of a Drug Taskforce operating in the area. I wondered why suspects ride was facing the cruiser, but after reading the Affidavit, it makes more sense.
