It's not like the legislature didn't have ample evidence of how this worked out in other states. That is to say it never works out like they promise it will.

I'm not against it at all. But regardless of how the law is written someone's gonna find a way to abuse it or to circumvent the intent of the law. I would really be surprised if even 20% of card holders had legitimate medical issues.

I don't care if people consume marijuana. But ill-informed politicians writing marijuana laws are as bad as ill-informed politicians who try to write gun laws. It should be no surprise the pooch was thoroughly screwed with the OK legislation.

It doesn't matter how many other States failed, they can make it work here.

Same way Socialism / Communism has failed everywhere

My wife’s best friend lives with us temporarily. She was beat by her ex-fiancé. They ran a legal grow operation together and smoke weed every day. Now she lives with me in a place that she can’t consume or even possess marijuana. The myth about it not being addictive is just that. It’s a myth. Also while she was there running the previously mentioned grow there were so many nefarious characters or clients around. I visited several times to see how the business was progressing. I was genuinely happy for them. From a first hand perspective I can tell you a grow operation and weed in general is bad. It might generate a lot of tax dollars and has created a niche in the economy but at what cost?
For the record:
I am anti marijuana and anti alcohol.
Anti any type of non prescribed medication from a real doctor not from a weed doctor quake. The word medicinal as it’s applied to local marijuana is bs.
Just say no.

the fear i have is that, with everyday passing there is more and more of these liberal & democratic types flocking here in droves demanding we identify them by their pronouns as they smoke the devils lettuce and use dumb slang they make up. are they gonna bring their ****** anti-gun ideals with them? because i know quite a few who moved here from elsewhere in **** states because how much more relaxed we are with our marijuana laws. That, and its no surprise that the type that run these big shady business operations also dabble in other shady gray & illegal areas bringing in more crime to our state.

I agree with ssg_mcd theirs nothing medical about this.
Oklahoma knew what they were doing when they wrote these laws, & it was with maximum profit in mind. so easy to get a card it just costs a tax. meanwhile they can still tax the people who use but try and stick it to the man avoiding the legal license tax.
I am anti-marijuana. Except in the case of people going through chemo ect. its the same as alcohol, its a bad habit. its a drug and a chemical. a mind altering substance. nothing good about it.
It reminds me of what my grandmother told me about when big tobacco was allowed to say whatever they want. they would run advertisements saying got a headache? smoke a cigarette, its healthy for you and other bs nonsense. they say it cures everything. just dumb imo.
I am anti-alcohol, anti drug as well.
